Scope and personal data

This policy covers enquiries sent through this website and to info@etherlnx.com, our customer information and support mailbox, which also receives data protection requests. It does not cover candidate or CV processing in separate ETHERLNX products.

The form requires an email address and message so we can reply. A phone number is optional. We also receive the declaration of being at least 14, contact consent, language, notice version and receipt date. We do not request your date of birth or identity document.

When you visit, the server needs to process technical data, including your IP address, to deliver the page. The hosting provider may generate security logs. This website does not incorporate analytics or advertising tools.

Purposes and legal bases

We handle form enquiries with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. If you request a quote or steps before entering into a contract, we process the data needed for those steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)). To reply to other enquiries you initiate by email and protect the service against abuse, we rely on our legitimate interests in handling communications and maintaining security (Art. 6(1)(f)); you may object where applicable.

Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. This website does not collect advertising subscriptions. We do not use these enquiries for profiling or automated decisions with legal effects.

Retention

We retain the enquiry and consent evidence while handling it. Ordinary enquiries that do not result in a contractual relationship are deleted no later than six months after closure or the final reply completing their handling. You may request earlier erasure or withdraw consent. If a legal obligation or specific outstanding liability requires retention, only the necessary data will be kept, with restricted access where required, for the applicable period. If a contractual relationship follows, retention information for that service will be supplied.

Deletion must cover the relevant mailboxes and providers, subject to their deletion and backup cycles. You may request information about periods affecting your enquiry. Browser preference periods are set out in the cookie policy.

Recipients and providers

Enquiries are accessible to authorised people who need to reply. Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps hosts the website and processes form requests. Hostinger provides domain DNS and the receiving mailbox. The form also uses Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) to deliver messages to info@etherlnx.com. Emails you send directly to the mailbox do not pass through this form or its Resend integration. We do not send your enquiry to other visitors or publish it.

Data may be disclosed to authorities where legally required. You may request further information about providers involved in your enquiry.

International transfers

Resend is a US provider and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Its processing agreement includes European Commission standard contractual clauses; links to the agreement and its subprocessors are provided on this page.

Microsoft and Hostinger may also use subprocessors or international access depending on the contracted service. Their processing agreements provide transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. The links below provide their public terms. You may ask the controller for information or a copy of the safeguards applicable to your enquiry. The domain or DNS location does not guarantee that all data is processed exclusively in Spain.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability where applicable and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Send your request to the data protection email above. Requests are generally answered within one month. If an extension is needed because of complexity or the number of requests, we will inform you within that first month. Additional identification information will only be requested if there are reasonable doubts.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), particularly if you believe your rights have not been respected.

Children and other people's data

The form is intended for people aged at least 14. If you are under 14, ask your parent or guardian to make the enquiry using their own details. This website does not provide a parental consent verification process.

The age checkbox is a declaration by the sender. If we identify data about children under 14 without a valid legal basis, we will take steps to stop processing and delete it where appropriate. Do not send CVs, medical information, identity documents or other people's personal data through this form.

Security and preferences

The form limits the fields received and requires confirmation of consent and age. Delivery to the email provider uses HTTPS. Sending errors do not log enquiry content. Mailbox protection, permissions, backups and retention are managed by the controller.

The cookie policy describes language and theme preferences and allows you to delete them.
